- During 2006 and 2008 the Caravan Project at the Family Action Centre, University of Newcastle, received funding from the Telstra Foundation Community Development Fund to conduct an action research project supporting students from Mountain View Caravan Park who were attending Mountain View Public School. This paper discusses the project, Stepping Stones: From caravan park to school, in particular the experience of the families from the park and attempts to improve relationships between the park residents and the school.
